PL 200--Criminal Law
In class today, Thursday 3/30, we had Quiz #6. We went over the textbook cases through the Peterson case. I also discussed six Maine cases regarding various aspects of self-defense. The assignment for Tuesday 4/4 is to finish reading chapter 7. Once we finish Chapter 7 (hopefully on Tuesday) we will have our second exam (hopefully on Thursday 4/6).
PL 302--Family Law
In class today, Thursday 3/30, I handed back the C.E.W. briefs. I distributed 3 handouts, one blank and one filled in set of the child support worksheets and related materials, and the Maine Child Support Guideline Statutes. We worked through the calculation of child support using those materials. I discussed one Maine case on imputed income, Rich v. Narofsky, 624 A2d 937 (Me. 1993). The homework for Tuesday 4/4 is to do a case brief of Jarvis v. Jarvis, 2003 ME 53.
